This was true when IREM’s scope reached no further than North America. And it’s equally true today as IREM’s influence, evidenced by more than 2,000 members outside of North America, extends into Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe. As globalization brings about shrinking distances and an increasingly interconnected world, individuals and businesses look to find commonalities. They look for shared values that cross cultural and geographic boundaries. They seek out people they can trust to do business with.
