Course Description
The Housing Opportunities Through Modernization Act, commonly referred to as HOTMA, passed in 2016, but unfortunately, information to the industry has been slow in coming and confusing when received. This session will provide an overview of HOTMA, provide updates on the HUD guidance received in late 2023, and highlight what you need to know to maintain subsidized housing compliance.

- Understand HOTMA and what areas of housing are impacted by the law.
- Outline the challenges being encountered due to the delay in delivery of guidance from HUD
- Learn about actions needed to be HOTMA ready based upon the most current information
