Course Description
Capital is money or property that can be used to create more wealth through investing. It consists of the total assets of a business, including cash on hand. Capital is also any form of wealth used, or ready for use, in creating more wealth. Sometimes the line between a capital expense and an operating expense can be blurry.
This course examines the types of capital property that property managers interact with and are exposed to, as well as terminology and the typical uses of capital in commercial real estate. In it, real estate expert and IREM instructor Sal Dragone, CPM®, CCIM will:
- Introduce you to common terminology related to capital
- Review typical uses of capital in commercial real estate
