Course Description
In this course, IREM Instructor Jeff Lapin, CPM®, will explain the rationale for property owners to charge tenants for their share of operating expenses. He will also describe in a logical, step-by-step way the process of reconciling tenants’ shares of CAM expenses, from segregating operating expenses into CAM and non-CAM categories to determining and billing each tenant’s share of such expenses. Jeff will also cover tips, tricks and best practices that make this process understandable and non-intimidating, even for property managers new to the process.
