Nils started with Blanton Turner in 2016 after graduating with his B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of Washington in Seattle. His background allows him to comfortably work with precise details while distilling complex information for high-level analysis. He quickly found success working with the company’s office and retail portfolio, becoming Commercial Finance Manager. Nils soon expanded his responsibilities to include Blanton Turner’s pre-development consulting, generating detailed stabilized and lease-up pro forma budgets for dozens of multifamily and mixed-use projects across the Seattle area. As Blanton Turner’s Financial Analyst, Nils creates tools, improves workflows, and analyzes performance across the company’s entire 80+ property portfolio. Through his evolving role at Blanton Turner, Nils obtained a broad understanding of the many facets of property management, including accounting, development, asset management, commercial real estate, mixed-use, affordable housing, and marketing. Regardless of the task at hand, Nils believes that the ability to understand both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of problems allow solving them in a functional way with a “people-first” perspective. For Blanton Turner to continue providing exceptional property management, Nils strives towards efficiency and quality so that things work better for clients and colleagues alike.
