Craig Howard is a licensed real estate broker and holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) to assist in management of 10,000 units across the Southeast. Craig Howard is on Heritage Properties' Finance team: identifying new multi-family investment opportunities, performing the due diligence on potential projects, risk management and evaluations, to make recommendations of the viability of new acquisitions. Craig Howard is responsible for assisting with the continued strategic planning and growth of the multi-family division. This includes refinancing the current portfolio debt to achieve owners’ goals though capital markets and products such as HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Bridge Loans and CMBS. Additionally, Craig Howard is a member of Heritage Properties' Development Team, he assists in the site selection and design process on multi-family construction projects, from the conceptual phase to design development, and delivery. My goals are to achieve maximum property value through property refinance, rehab, financial leverage, and management. Ensuring high levels of resident, investor, and associate satisfaction, through a focus on continuous improvement and implementation of best practices. Craig Howard also serves as the supervisor for Heritage Properties Green Properties.
Craig Howard Kirkland Jr. graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Real Estate, Managerial Finance, and Marketing.
Craig Howard has been working for Heritage Properties since 2009. He began as a groundskeeper and worked his way up to a maintenance team member and continued to gain experience in property management with a position as a leasing agent in the Jackson metro area. His skills were further strengthened when he interned at the corporate office performing tasks in the finance department. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Haleigh, daughter Miles, hunting and building his own real estate portfolio.
