2021 IREM 30 Under 30 Recipient

After graduating from North Carolina State University in 2013 with a BS in Business Administration, Brad Johnson began his career as a project manager with VisionPoint Marketing in Raleigh, NC, an agency focused on meeting the needs of the higher education market. After 3 years of working in marketing, first with VisionPoint and then with a new church in downtown Wilmington, NC, Brad began his real estate career as an Association Manager at Premier Management Company, also in Wilmington, NC. Brad would go on to manage over 400,000 square feet of office, retail, and industrial space for Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners before accepting the General Manager job at Sweyer Property Management, Wilmington’s largest residential property management company. As General Manager, it’s Brad’s responsibility to lead his staff of over 20 real estate professionals to ensure that Sweyer Property Management is delivering the best results to owners and tenants via its 1,300 properties under management. An active member of both IREM and NARPM, Brad is currently an IREM Certified Property Manager Candidate and expected to finish this designation in summer 2021. Brad and his wife of 8 years, Kayla, recently brought home a “COVID puppy" and are expecting their first child in the fall of 2021.
