See if you qualify

To earn the ARM, real estate managers must take two required certification courses.

Registering is easy – just use the ARM Track (ARMTRK). It combines the coursework on the fundamentals of residential property management – like budgeting, cash flow, leasing, and resident retention – with ethics training and the ARM Certification Exam.*

Attention condo and HOA managers: You can take custom ARM Track courses designed specifically for condo or HOA managers. See the ARM Checklist to learn more.

*The ARM Track is one path to ARM certification, but it’s not the only path. Use the ARM Checklist to learn about other approved course combinations.

Practice your craft

Active residential managers benefit because their real-world experience and ARM coursework build on each other. That’s why those seeking the ARM must have at least 12 months of qualifying real estate management experience before applying for the certification.
