Hayley Amey is a Property Manager at Rappaport, a real estate firm specializing in the Washington DC region’s retail sector. She manages a portfolio of five retail shopping centers located in Maryland and Virginia, totaling a square footage of approximately 364,000 square feet. Hayley studied International Affairs as an undergraduate at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Sustainable Urban and Regional Planning as a postgraduate at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. As a postgraduate in Perth she also interned with the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority researching economic wellbeing, worked closely with Sustainable Housing for Artists and Creatives to develop their business case for a cooperative housing development, and volunteered as a heritage guide at the Fremantle Round House. After returning to the DC area in 2014, she joined Rappaport in an administrative role and was subsequently promoted to property manager. In her spare time Hayley enjoys traveling, reading, and trail riding with her Icelandic Horses.
