With nearly 8 years of real estate management experience, specifically with multi-family assets, Donell has experienced accelerated growth within the industry. Achieving “Community Manager” status within 26 months of starting his career as a Leasing Professional with Alliance Residential, Donell has managed community sizes of 180-units, 270-units, 165-units, and 670-units respectively. Donell is well versed in garden-style, mid-rise, and high-rise with retail communities in the LA and IE markets of Southern California. Donell is well known for thriving in challenging situations; most recently being recruited for an asset that was experiencing poor financial performance and failing owner’s expectations, he and his team achieved 11% growth in Scheduled Rent, 15.7% growth in Revenue, and 16.8% growth in NOI over his two-year stint at this asset, with 18 months of that two years taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a regional Greystar award for Property of the Year in 2021 for the Inland Empire. In 2016, Donell was recognized at the California Apartment Association’s Signature Awards as the “Assistant Manager of the Year” for the Los Angeles Chapter. He currently holds an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM LA/IE Chapters). Donell is currently attending Penn State University, majoring in Business, with a focus in Entrepreneurship.
