Apply for the CSP certification
After you've reviewed and completed all required documentation, it's time to submit your CSP application. Please visit the application platform to submit all supporting materials and pay the fee.
Application fee
While the IREM CSP is a highly valued certification, it’s more affordable than you might think. The CSP cost is on par with or less than other certifications and the earn-back for most properties covers the cost.
- $730 for IREM Members and AMO Firms
- $1210 for Non-Member Individuals and Companies

Annual deadlines
New certification priority deadline: November 1
All qualifying applications for first-time certification submitted by November 1 are guaranteed certification dates for the year in which they’re submitted.
Recertification deadline: December 31
Recertification required every three years by December 31
Share your property in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
If you track your property in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, you’ll need to set up a share with IREM’s account. This will allow you to quickly import data into your CSP application.
