Timothy Kramer, CPM^®, ARM^®

Tim Kramer, CPM^®, ARM^®, is a member of the IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) Board of Directors. He’s also a Vice President and the Director of Operations of the Management Services team with Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, an AMO® firm located in Chicago, Illinois. In his role, Tim oversees the day-to-day operations of the site management teams and spearheads the acquisition and deployment of technology-based property management tools across Draper and Kramer’s portfolio, with an eye towards improving operational efficiency. Tim and his Ops Team also manage the onboarding of new properties into the portfolio.

Tim’s the great-grandson of Adolph Kramer, who co-founded Draper and Kramer in 1893. His first job in the family firm was in 1993 as a Leasing Consultant. Over the years, Tim has gained experience managing several different types of residential properties, from garden style suburban to urban high-rise. Tim’s a former Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at Roosevelt University, and an IREM instructor. He teaches both the RES201 and the FIN402 classes to students pursuing the ARM and CPM designations. He lives in rural Northern Illinois with his wife Cheryl, and daughter, Annie Grace.
