Leslie Amaro - 2023-2024 Next Gen CPM Leader

My name is Leslie Amaro. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Family is the most important thing to me: it is the core of my being. I have been happily married for 7 years to a wonderful husband and have a beautiful 6-year-old daughter. Together they are my support system, as well as the rest of my family. I am grateful for their support, and the way my parents raised me. They raised me to be a hard-working individual, to never give up on my dreams, and to learn from my failures. As the eldest of three, I have always had a compassionate spirit to look over others and take the lead. These qualities have helped me in my professional career. In my professional journey, I’ve had the privilege to work for Pacific Coast Commercial for the past 11 years. I am grateful for the guidance and potential that was seen in me to grow within the company. Cheri Crepeau, CPM, has been my mentor and boss through my whole property management journey. I began as a Self-Storage Manager, and now I oversee several Storage facilities. It has been an amazing journey. I have learned so much and will continue learning. When I am not in a professional setting, I enjoy the beach. I LOVE DISNEYLAND, and let my inner child go wild. That is my happy place. I also enjoy camping with my family. Being outdoors and disconnecting with the city life helps me get in touch with myself. I am also passionate about exploring different cultures with their food. In my journey through my personal and professional life, I strive to always be grateful, kind, and embrace the changes that cross my path. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn more through this IREM program. I will cherish this opportunity and hope to set an example for my daughter and other young professionals.
