Christine Houston-Lacy, CPM®, is the 2021-2022 regional vice president for IREM (Institute for Real Estate Management) for Region 2, encompassing chapters in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has been an IREM member since 2012, and a CPM since 2013. During the course of her 30+ year career she’s been employed as an urban planner, property manager, director, developer and principal, serving market, elderly, disabled and family communities. She’s currently the Principal of CELL Solutions, a full-service consulting group for affordable housing development, property management and real estate acquisition.
She’s published two property management manuals – “The Merry Manager Manual” and “Two Better Halves – The Service Coordinator/Resident Manager Relationship.” She holds multiple designations in the federally subsidized, rural development and low income housing tax credit fields, including Assisted Housing Property Manager, C10P (Tax Credit), R515-STAR (Rural Development), and is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Fair Housing Coordinator. She was selected as CPM of the year for the Southern New Jersey IREM Chapter in 2016 and served as its President from 2017 through 2020.
