Cheryl Ann Gray, CPM, is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She is an Executive Vice President with QuadReal Property Group, leading the Enterprise Resources & Innovation team who provide the organization with expertise in sustainability, risk management, environmental health and safety, national contracting, property management best practices and data governance.

Gray earned her CPM designation from IREM in 1990. She currently serves on the IREM Executive Committee and is a long-standing member of the organization’s International Management Board. In 2016, she chaired the Education Conference Advisory Board and has been a member of various IREM committees and boards. Gray also served as the IREM RVP in 1996 with the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC).

Gray feels it is a privilege to serve as an officer of IREM, especially as the first international member to do so. As part of the officer team, she looks forward to collaborating with volunteer leadership to refine how IREM identifies and develops future leaders and to supporting strategic goals to enhance the value that IREM brings to the real estate management profession around the globe. She is excited to help IREM focus on member services while at the same time broadening IREM’s appeal to those who are considering real estate management as their career choice.

In addition to IREM, Gray is a member of REIC and the Building Owners and Managers' Association (BOMA) Canada, having served both organizations on their national board of directors. Gray was honored by REIC in 2014 with CPM Member of the Year and again in 2017 with the Emeritus Award, the highest honor given to a member of REIC. She was also a nominee of IREM's 2013 Women of Influence in Real Estate Management. Gray received the BOMA Canada's Chairman's Award and BOMA Toronto's President's Award for her role in leading the Canadian real estate industry initiative on pandemic planning. Gray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo.

Gray is a member of IREM Toronto Chapter 119.
